Although I don't hail from Alaska, I have spent the last 12 plus years in this wonderous place that I now call home, having spent 23 years before that living in and around Denver Colorado.  I have a grown daughter with children of her own and I currently live a single lifestyle. My passions include but are not limited to, writing of course, quilting, photography, cooking, gardening, horses and horseback riding, snorkeling, travel, hiking, a beginner belly dancer, and sailing. I started writing on a dare 5 years ago and haven't been able to put my pen down since.  I am thrilled to have found this fabulous community of writers here on Hubpages and plan to stick around, hone my skills and enjoy the wild ride.  Welcome all to my Hubpages!  Comments, questions, and feedback are highly encouraged and welcome.
